What a Pensacola Shark Fishing Trip Looks Like
You meet Chip Gillikin on the beach at 6 PM. He sets the rods, rigs the bait, and sends it out past the sandbar with a remote control bait boat, so nobody has to cast. You relax on the sand with a frozen drink until a rod bends over. Then it is your fight. Trips run 6 PM to 10 PM, and Chip handles all the gear, bait, and coaching. The trip starts at sunset on purpose. That is when sharks move in close to feed, and the beach has cooled off and cleared out. Chip takes photos and video of your catch for you.
One Flat Price for Your Whole Group
A 4 hour trip is $1,000 total, not per person. There is no group size limit, so families and friend groups split one price. A $200 deposit holds your date. Chip runs one trip per evening, so popular dates fill up. Big groups are welcome: family reunions, bachelor and bachelorette parties, church groups, and team trips.
Where We Fish Near Pensacola
Trips run from public beach access points at Pensacola Beach and Perdido Key. Chip picks the best beach for the tide and weather and sends you the spot when you book.

Sharks We Catch Off Pensacola Beaches
We target bull sharks and blacktips close to shore. Every trip is 100% catch and release, and every shark is handled by Florida's rules and goes back healthy.

Florida Licenses and the Shark Fishing Course
Florida has two simple steps for anyone fishing for sharks from the beach. You need a Florida saltwater fishing license, and guests 16 and older take a free online shore based shark fishing course to get a no cost permit. Most guests finish both in a few minutes. Chip walks you through it after you book.
