1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Gillikin's Island Shark Fishing website and booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Gillikin's Island Shark Fishing provides guided, land-based shark fishing experiences along the Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast. All trips are 100% catch-and-release and conducted in compliance with applicable state fishing regulations.

3. Bookings & Deposits

A deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit amount will be communicated at time of booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of the trip. By submitting a deposit, you confirm your intent to participate and acknowledge our cancellation policy.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking at our discretion, in which case any deposit paid will be refunded in full.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellation by client: Deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled more than 72 hours in advance.
• Weather cancellations: If a trip is cancelled due to unsafe weather conditions, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
• No-shows: No-shows forfeit the deposit and are not eligible for a refund.

5. Participant Responsibilities

All participants are responsible for obtaining any required fishing licenses prior to the trip, including Alabama or Florida Saltwater Fishing Licenses and, for Florida locations, the Shore-Based Shark Fishing certification. We are not responsible for participants who fail to obtain required licenses.

Participants must follow all instructions given by the guide. Unsafe or disruptive behavior may result in immediate termination of the trip without refund.

6. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

Shark fishing involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, property damage, and exposure to marine wildlife. By booking a trip, all participants acknowledge and accept these risks. Gillikin's Island Shark Fishing and its guides are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in a trip.

7. Photography & Media

Photos and videos taken during your trip may be shared on our website and social media channels for promotional purposes. If you prefer your images not be shared, please notify us in writing before or during your trip.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict of law principles.
